BBN Kin, operated by BBN FAMILY LLC based in Akron, Ohio, provides family-centered support services that strengthen connections, build independence, and improve quality of life for families and individuals across the region.
Supporting Families Where They Are
We believe that strong families form the foundation of healthy communities. Our approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each familys unique circumstances. From care coordination for seniors to after-school programs for youth, we meet families where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
Since our founding in Akron, we have worked with over 1,200 families across Summit County and surrounding areas. Our team of 24 dedicated staff members and 60+ trained volunteers provides services in multiple languages and settings including homes, schools, community centers, and our office at 1825 13th St SW.
We partner with 15+ local organizations including schools, healthcare providers, and social service agencies to ensure families receive comprehensive support without gaps or duplication.

Our programs have grown steadily through word of mouth and referrals from partner agencies. We are committed to expanding our reach while maintaining the personalized attention that sets our services apart.

Short-term relief for primary caregivers through trained respite providers who offer temporary care for children, seniors, or individuals with special needs.
